Sammiches are awesome. We spotted the deli last year and wandered in for lunch; the Americanista is great- horseradish cheddar is an excellent, tasty choice, adds the kick that's great with roast beef. This year we were on the beach and starting to feel a bit hungry, turned around and wouldn't ya know it, the Electric Hero had a food truck at the beach. Johnny on the spot. The Chipolte Chicken sammich is just as good as the last! Also- any place that rocks muenster cheese is all right with me.

My wife and I spent last week in Grand Haven on the beach. One gets hungry on the beach. And, generally speaking, food options on the beach are not good. But on this beach, there is a pink food truck with a curious name, Electric Hero. And it serves sandwiches. I order the Americanista, a roast beef sandwich with horseradish complimented with crisp veggies. It is fantastic. My wife orders the Stride of Pride, a turkey sandwich with shredded pickles and a tangy sauce. It is equally fantastic but in a tossup I'm gonna have to pick the Americanista. Both sandwiches, the ingredients really shine through, and I think that's because the bread Electric Hero uses allows them to. It's light and chewy, and not at all overbearing. Really, it's ideal sandwich bread. If that weren't enough, the dude at the food truck was super cool and funny.

Family of 5, stopped by on our way down to South Haven. My sandwich was good, but would've appreciated a couple of kid-size options as well. Pickle spears were a mess. A bit on the expensive side, but one of very few "local" options we could find.

Good selection of sandwiches and soups. Be careful when you order-if you walk in during lunch, prepare to wait. I usually call beforehand so it's ready when I get there. Warning: if you're getting it to go, skip the pickle. I had a mess on my desk when trying to unwrap it. It had also leaked in the paper bag. Potato leek soup is very good, and the Americanista is my go to sandwich. However, the arugula can taste dirty sometimes (compared to how other places prepare it) and it seems a a dollar or two over priced. Once you get a drink, sandwich and side, the price can really soar. I do wish they'd post their specials in Facebook more often. Overall a pretty good shop!

Bomb sandwiches, chill vibes, fresh ingredients, spicy options, nice people, fair prices, cozy spot to smash a sub.

Sandwich was below average and overpriced. Disappointed. I was expecting something really great. Slicer was filthy and the workers never washed their hands.

I've grabbed a few sandwiches here and I'm never disappointed. Always made with care by a very friendly staff. Unique choices too. Not the best place to sit down and "dine-in" and the prices are a $1 or two high, but like I said...getting high quality deli sandwiches to go, this place is hard to beat.

I had a Reuben there, the meat and fixens were good, but they grilled it on dry bread. It should have been buttered ,then grilled. Good luck, 'cause it sucked. I've talked to others and they said the same thing!

Wow so so good! Great sandwiches and soups. It's all Boars head meats so very nice quality. All the employees are very nice and will make recommendations based on what you love. Try it. Be aware dinning area is small and can get crowded.

Their food is way to expensive. I had a grilled cheese and than my friend had at 6 inch sub and it was $22. The food wasn't all that great either

This place is beyond amazing! Every item I have tried has been awesome. My current obsession is the tuna, even my husband who isn't a big tuna sandwich fan loves it. The staff are really nice, and the place has a great vibe. Highly recommend!

Have always said that if somebody opens a good, handmade sandwich shop in Grand Haven, it will be a gold mine! Boom...Electric Cadillac!! They have a wide variety of menu items...try a different one each time you stop in. Plus they deliver! Mostly walk in, pick up traffic. Not too much seating, but you can eat outdoors on the deck in warm weather. They are going to have to screen it in during the summer months however. The flies are noticeable and not too healthy.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, and an inspired take on the humble sandwich. I wish I was eating one of their reubens right now.
